anyone playing the beta? I got my hands on it and it's fun. The destruction is awsome. Its a grenade Spam heaven but it seems really balanced and fun. Almost like the first BF. Smile might be worth a look at the next lan if we can get enough people.

One thing I really like is how if a attacking team has to take over a capture point they can either do it the old way and just walk up and hold down the use key OR they can just blow the up the building and make it fall down for the capture.

I got in on the PS3 beta a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm definitely pre-ordering this one. Normally I don't preorder games unless there's a good incentive; there really isn't in this case, because the bonus weapons you get can be unlocked later on in the game anyway.

I'm definitely willing to play this at the next Lan.

Got into the PC beta a few days ago, Game is great, i will probably buy it.

Only thing that annoys me, no prone.... Other then that the game is amazing. I Like that almost everything can be destroyed. Its like,
"Oh hey, I'm behind a concrete wall, I'll be safe here" RPG 7 hits it and the explosion blows the wall and you up.

If you do plan on buying it, and if you own any other battlefields.

Link them to your ea account. i had to do it with bf2 bf2142 and of course bf1942 / vietnam.

You just need one to be a "veteran" which allows you to unlock the M1 Garand.

Soldier Name is Ryland in the beta if you wanna add me.

The game is pretty awesome. I will probably buy it, assuming they get the server browser to a point where I don't punch my monitor every time I try to play.

Surely this is a mistake, preorder at $20?

Well it's lacking the "Limited Edition" suffix and even proper boxart, but there's really only one version of the game available. I wonder what would happen if you preordered that?

Is there any way to still get in to the PC beta without pre-ordering it?

There's a bunch of different Twitter accounts that give out keys every now and then, but I don't know what they are, how often they give them out, or even how to redeem them. I would think you'd have to download the client first, which you can find on any torrent search engine.

The multiplayer demo is openly available on 360 and PS3. I've been playing the PS3 version since I don't have it for PC. (Though, if you pre-order it with Steam or online at Gamestop, you get access to the PC multiplayer demo).
