We recently received confirmation that Valve will once again be lending their generous support to our upcoming LAN. We are going to turn this information into a special pre-LAN contest!

I have no idea what Valve has chosen to send to us, it was simply described by email as "some items". From the shipping confirmation I can tell you that the box weighs 5.9 pounds and is scheduled to arrive at my house on Wednesday, 10/10. So here is the plan:

Make a post below with your guess of one specific item that you believe will be in the box. In the past, the items we've gotten have all been products listed on the Valve store website.

Guesses need to be specific! "Hat" or "key chain" won't be acceptable. Posting a link to the actual item on their site would be preferred. Guessing for a particular shirt must also include the shirt size.

When the box arrives, I will compare its contents to the list of guesses, and the first person with a match will win the item that they guessed!

Q. What if multiple people guess correctly? / What if two people guess the same item?
A. We only plan to award one prize for this contest. The winner will be determined by whoever posted in the thread earliest.

Q. What if I'm not signed up for the LAN?
A. The contest is open to anyone with a Magic LAN account that can post in this thread. You do not have to be registered for the event to win, BUT the prize can only be claimed during the LAN on 10/20.

Q. What if I want to change my guess?
A. It is acceptable to edit your original post to change your guess, but the timestamp for the edit, not the original post date, will be used for purposes of judging. So your guess effectively gets moved to the end of the line.
